Capcom has released a new trailer for Infinite Darkness.
We get to see Leon G'd-up-from-the-feet-up while working at the White House.
It was also confirmed by Capcom that this event takes place 2 years after Resident Evil 4. This will make The President that Leon is protecting Ashley's father. Hopefully we get to see her and Hunnigan as well.

Well, now that Infinite Darkness has released I finally got a chance to sit down and dive in.
I'll be honest, this was really lukewarm for me. Don't get me wrong, I'll watch anything with the Resident Evil name attached to it. But, personally this one was underwhelming to say the least.
I'll be diving into some spoilers (marked accordingly of course). So here we go, let's get out Netflix and Chill on.
OVERALL PRESENTATION
The show is short, really short. Four episodes which are about 22 minutes a piece, the whole package could have been better as a feature.
There is a bit of uncanny valley going on with some characters. Jason and Secretary Wilson were the biggest offenders there.
It was great to see Leon and Claire being voiced by the actors used in the Resident Evil 2 remake. It was strange to see Infinite Darkness use the "classic" Leon and Claire look though. Especially since RE2 Remake basically re-sets their appearance.
It will be interesting to see which way Capcom goes with Leon for the Resident Evil 4 remake. My money is with RE2 Remake Leon.
STORY
The setting and characters were extremely grounded by Resident Evil standards. That was refreshing, unlike Resident Evil Vendetta which had Chris boxing a Tyrant while Leon threw a motorcycle at it (see below):
The assault on the White House was awesome, far more creepier than the Queretaro Mission In Vendetta as well:
It was great to see it end as quickly as it began, there was a great sense of fear and dread.
Also, the final battle with Jason did not go on too long or over the top like Resident Evil Damnation. It was disappointing to see the story end in another "cylinder-room". The acid was a nice touch, but oh we've been here before.
In contrast, think of how the original Resident Evil ended in a lab followed by a heliport. Resident Evil 2 ended in a bigger lab followed by an escape to the surface. Resident Evil 3 ended in a Freddy-Kruger-like junkyard/warehouse which was extremely claustrophobic. Resident Evil 4 ended at a construction site, etc.
The Resident Evil CG movies seem to LOVE those cylindrical-rooms which end up collapsing on themselves.
CHARACTERS
As with all Resident Evil CG movies, we know not to give a shot about anyone who is not in the games themselves because they will either die or be brushed aside by the end. This could be because the CG-verse is starting to get too big and a bit over crowded.
Shenmei was my favorite new character added to the series. I especially loved the scene where my man Leon wastes no time and asks her out. Only to be turned down cold.
It was a nice touch seeing Ashley in a quick picture in the Oval Office, I'd love to see her come back in one of these CG outings. Especially since Capcom loves using Leon in every production.
Overall the whole experience was short, and the only noteworthy moment which adds some significance to Darkness' connection to the series is the scene where Secretary Wilson receives his vaccine from Tricell.
