Hey everyone,

So we have had a recent influx of spam accounts being created on the forum. I have been able to quickly identify and delete those accounts.

Normally when I see this happen on any other forum, usually the way the admins respond to the issue is by preventing new user registrations.

This is rock-solid, however, genuine users looking to join our community would also end up being locked out.

As such, I have decided not to lock the forum.

However, for all real Resident Evil fans who are registering for the first time, please create an introductory post for yourself here.

All previous members have been verified.

This way, we can easily weed out the fake accounts from the site.

I am always monitoring the forum 24/7, but if you manage to spot a fake post before I do, feel free to report the post so I can get the notification.

So it looks like we managed to stop the Spam accounts.

For some odd reason, they really had a thing for Hotmail as the majority of dummy emails they used were hosted there.

I have banned Hotmail for now, apologies to anyone looking to register with a Hotmail address.

If this cleanse holds, I'll unban the Hotmail domain.
